I think that the high readings today were due to RF from my ham radio. Not sure why, but I was doing some experiments.

Looks like I may have a problem with my ham radio causing spurious counts. Please ignore spikes at the moment whilst I try to sort things. Strange thing is nothing shows here. Not sure if ferrites might help, moving gm tube or maybe re-routing cables. Time for more experiments. OK reproduced problem, buts its going to take a while to sort.

Minimal damage. I found the cause, and am taking temporary measures, but as we are in lockdown here it will take another week, at least, before I can get materials for proper remediation. Our builder isn't available either because he has a serious backlog of work, due to coronavirus.

Looks like the temporary fix on the flooding is working. Hoping to pick up stuff to do a more permanent job tomorrow, otherwise it will be next Wednesday, due to Easter lockdown rules. But I think I fixed the problem with the counter by re-routing a couple of cables and adding a few ferrites.
